Psychiatry

Psychiatric Evaluation - 1 hour

Establish a diagnosis and formulation of the individual's problems and to plan the individual's care and treatment. An evaluation of an adult is made based on behaviors present and in relation to physical, genetic, environmental, social, cognitive, emotional, and educational parts that may be affected as a result of these behaviors.

Medication Management - 20 mins

Routine outpatient psychiatric medication management, including biochemical discussion.

Counseling

Psychotherapy Intake session - 1 hour

Initial session to build rapport and gather basic information about the individual and their background while the individual learns more about the services available. Assists both the provider and the individual with obtaining a clear focus on past and present concerns, and informs the provider the direction of the counseling process and treatment. 

Follow up session - 45 - 60 mins 

In-depth exploration of the presenting issues and manifestation of the origins. The provider and individual will work as a team to understand the root cause of the issue with strengths based techniques. The provider will suggest activities and homework which are beneficial for the individual.
